Let’s just say my brows, and I have been through thick and thin…Hehe. After years of experimenting, I’ve come to realize that the best brows are the fluffy, natural, “born this way” brows! From plucking the finest arch to letting them grow to their bushiest potential, there’s no denying that they probably get the most attention in my everyday makeup routine.

I’ve gone through every brow pencil, powder, gel, tint, and wax known to man, and I am so excited to share with y’all my top picks. Yes, I’m talking about the ones that have remained true and loyal over the years, along with a few of my favorite tips and tricks.

Godefroy Tint Kit: I love this stuff for so many reasons! First off, it saves me money. Every capsul is equivalent to one dollar towards getting my brows professionally done at a salon. Second, I like how the application is guaranteed to be fresh every time with one new capsul per use. Third, it’s easy to apply!

I like to start by shaping my brows (to their most natural shape). I usually just pluck a tiny bit off the bottom of my brows. I then add a little vaseline or oil on the skin around my brows (to prevent staining). Lastly, I’ll apply the Tint evenly through my brows using the applicator comb and will wipe it off with a damp washcloth and a gentle shampoo. The kit will come with directions, too.

Iconic London-Tint and Texture Brow Gel: This stuff is a newer brow addition, but I wanted to give it a shout-out because it’s THAT good. I always know it’s a keeper when I find myself reaching for it every day. This brow tint just does such a great job of evenly coating each individual hair and not leaving any sparse areas. It also doesn’t feel like I have any product on at all, which is always a major plus! I’m not sure if it’s the tiny applicator brush or just the formula, but they are doing something right with this one.

Maybelline TattooStudio Waterproof Eyebrow Gel: If you have little to nonexistent brows, this may just be the gel for you. My mom suffers from what I like to call, ghost brows (she used to pluck her brows completely off, then draw them on). This gel, along with a good brow growth serum (we like using GrandeBROW Brow Enhancing Serum), has proven to be the perfect brow growth power couple.

Testimonial + tips: My mom used to get her brows professionally done, but through a little trial and error, she switched to this regimen and has been using this stuff for a few years. This brow gel stays on a few days at a time or longer, so long as you’re careful when washing your face.

I personally recommend washing the gel off every night and applying your brow serum, but I know it can be a lot of work. To be fair, I just do her brows for her (about twice a week). I don’t mind it, because I like the extra mother daughter time. She LOVES this product and gets compliments on her brows ALL THE TIME. All you’ll need is a steady hand, double-ended spooly, brow arch stencil, and you’re good to go!

Physicians Formula Ultra-Fine Liquid Eyeliner (Dark Brown): This is probably my favorite hack of all! Not only is this a liquid eyeliner infused with lash boosting serum, but it also doubles as a brow pencil… At least for darker brows. I wouldn’t use this if you have light hairs. When applying, use light strokes and comb though with a spooly. I like following up with a clear brow gel after. Which leads me to…

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel (Clear) and ABH Brow Freeze: I believe these just go without saying… Everyone has at least one of these in their makeup bag. They’re just iconic, and, if you ask me, rightfully so. Both formulas are very comfortable and hold their shape throughout the day. They’re great for setting the most complex drawn on brows or simply by themselves for a quick groom and go look!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: Last, but certainly not least, we have the ABH Brow Wiz. When I think brows, I can’t help but think of this pencil. It’s the product that kick-started my whole brow journey, the coveted brow wiz. All beginner brow artists need this pencil. It’s easy to use, has lots of color options, with effortless blending to boot. I mean, what more could you ask for!?
