THINGS TO DO
The first time the kids got to see the ocean! Definitely recommend parking at Venice Beach and travelling the board walk to SMP. The pier is so colorful and fun! We found an artist who creatively painted people’s names. Naturally, we got a couple done for the kiddos. It was very satisfying and peaceful to watch. 🎡🌊
Walking the Hollywood Walk of Fame felt surreal, surrounded by the stars of legends! Go here and get a pic with your favorite ones! ⭐️ We got coffee, shopped, and people watched mostly, lol.
There was something mystic about this wall. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it was pretty. 💖✨
Get a travel rental of sorts and roam the boardwalk! We got two motor tri-scooters and raced! I got lost in the moment with this one – time stood still. By far one of my favorite things we did! We had so much fun and couldn’t stop laughing! 🤪
EATS
The truffle cheese wheel is a MUST, my brother-in-law gets it every time. Yes, Bay got the Justin Bieber pasta, lol. I really enjoyed what I got, but can’t pronounce it…and the ravioli. 🍝🍷🤌
Come here for the aesthetic alone! Bay and I shared some strawberry pancakes. 🍓 Next time, I want to try their egg benedict! (Both were recommended)
We made reservations here. The freshest sushi roll I think I’ve ever had – the rainbow roll. Yes, Baylee got a California roll in California, lol. Everyone enjoyed the orange chicken and fried shrimp, too.
Tried my first halo halo here. Everything tasted super fresh! I especially liked the ube ice cream. Jake’s favorite was the watermelon juice (without the added mint 🍃).

LA was everything we hoped for and more—a perfect mix of iconic moments and unexpected fun.
